ConstructSim i-model Publisher Help

To Add the ConstructSim i-model Publisher (Navigator 6.0) feature into (SELECTseries 1)

If you are running ConstructSim Planner V8i (SELECTseries 1), (version 08.11.09.911) and want to use the ConstructSim i-model Publisher, you need to follow the steps below.
  1. Go to the Bentley Fulfillment Center and search for the ConstructSim i-model Publisher product.
  2. Download and install ConstructSim i-model Publisher.
  3. When the installation is complete, search for the zip file 4033.zip. You can find this file in the patches sub-folder at the location where you installed the product.
  4. Extract the contents of 4033.zip to a location of your choice.
  5. Copy the entire 4033 folder to the Schema Upgrade folder in the Standard Template (for example, the Schema Upgrade path is C:\ConstructSimData\StandardTemplate\SchemaUpgrade\).
  6. From the Start menu, find Upgrade Utility, right-click and select Run as administrator. The ConstructSim Project Utility dialog opens.
  7. Choose your current project, select the path for the standard template, and click Upgrade.
  8. Make sure that the upgrade finishes successfully and the project version is increased to 4033.
  9. Open Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
  10. From C:\ConstructSimData\StandardTemplate\SchemaUpgrade\4033\FilesToHandleByMigrationScript\VPM\, open the script fvw_RelationshipsSrv_IwpCwp.sql file. The script displays in the SQL Server Management Studio dialog.
  11. Select -VPM database from the drop-down menu in the upper left side.
  12. Click the Execute button and after the script executes, close SSMS.
  13. Open ConstructSim Executive. You see that the new managed command Publish i-model (dgndb) for Review is added in Managed Command tree under NetWorkLayout panel.
  14. Navigate to the Publish i-model for Review node and turn on the commands.
    You can leave off the Recover data in local VCM option.
  15. Run the entire Publish i-model for Review node by right-clicking and selecting Run.
  16. Run the entire End-to-End-Data-Run by right-clicking and selecting Run.
